I sign my work with the childhood name “ica”, a reminder to paint with the freedom of my younger self — curious, playful, and unburdened by cares or worries.

My practice is rooted in contemporary abstraction, where color, texture, and form become vessels for memory, emotion, and unseen movement. I am inspired by hidden currents of energy and motion that exist beyond ordinary perception, translating these invisible flows into visible narratives that capture the essence of motion shaping our world, often beyond the reach of the naked eye.

Drawing from both personal histories and collective cultural moments, I weave layered compositions through intuitive mark‑making and deliberate imperfections, mirroring the unpredictability of human experience.
